I’m off to a good start with my New Year’s resolutions — to be patient, to practice portion control, and to carve out face time for people instead of relying on digital communication.
So, with a new month at hand and a little momentum at my back, I hereby go on record as setting a modest goal for February: to exercise each and every day.
I started with Sunday morning yoga, as I usually do with Lori. This morning, I ran — and, yes, I got soaked. The rest of the month, I hope, will see me working in a mix of running, weights and swimming — and perhaps some time on the elliptical.
No biggie if I fall short. Not gonna put that kind of pressure of myself. But it would be nice to reach the month’s end and look back in my exercise log to see I have lived up to my pledge.
